Domain description :

The field Closiers Parnay is located in the heart of the Saumur Champigny appellation. The Closiers winemakers were working in confined vines and who lived in cave dwellings at the foot of the hill. ? The estate covers 15 hectares on a clay-limestone. The vines are 35 years of average age. About 95% of the vineyard is planted with Cabernet Franc to produce rich and fine wines in AOC Saumur Champigny. We also have a few plots of Chenin used in the production of AOC Saumur. To understand the character of our wines, we must climb to the top of a limestone cliff overlooking the Loire. Asked on the hillside plots of field express the richness and nobility of the terroir of Saumur Champigny.
